Cost planning and continuous improvement within the area A leading company in the aquaculture industry requires a Maintenance Manager to work at its Processing Plant located in Quellón, Chiloé. **JOB OBJECTIVE** Oversee the proper operation of machinery, equipment, and plant infrastructure—or other facilities under the technical department’s responsibility—by implementing preventive maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with unit management indicators. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Ensure proper execution of technical procedures during product manufacturing according to technical specifications; monitor the yield of each processed product; and ensure compliance with HACCP and POS standards across the entire assigned area. * Monitor activities related to personnel, machinery, equipment, and supplies; control raw material stock and inventory, production volumes, and production timelines. * Implement the Customer Satisfaction procedure jointly with the Quality Assurance Manager, Cold Storage Manager, Production Sub-Manager, and Plant Manager, applying organizational procedures. * Immediately report to supervisor any anomalies affecting production, such as logistical or distribution issues. * Plan the cost program within the area of responsibility. **REQUIREMENTS** * Academic qualification: Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related degree (mandatory). * Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance (mandatory). * Minimum 1 year of experience leading teams (mandatory). * Experience in processing plants (mandatory). * Residency in or willingness to relocate to Quellón (mandatory). * Availability for on-site work (mandatory). * Experience with maintenance indicators. * Knowledge of IFS, GlobalG.A.P., ASC, and BAP standards. * Knowledge and use of SAP. * Advanced Excel.
