**Position Purpose:** * Attend to and assist guests upon arrival, during their stay, and at departure from the hotel, ensuring courteous, efficient, and professional service. * Manage registration processes, reservations, inquiry handling, and payments, contributing to a satisfactory customer experience and smooth hotel operations. **Education:** * Technical or professional degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum of 1 year in similar positions (hotel reception or travel agency). **Required Competencies for the Position** * Excellent verbal and written communication. * Customer orientation and service attitude. * Problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Organization, responsibility, and attention to detail. * Teamwork and ability to work under pressure. * Adaptability and discretion. **Functions:** * Welcome guests, verify identification, and carry out the check\-in process, delivering keys and providing room location guidance. * Maintain an orderly record of guest arrivals and departures (check\-in / check\-out). * Prepare bills at check\-out, including additional charges (restaurant, minibar, upgrades, etc.). * Manage reservations and cancellations made through various channels: phone, email, or internet. * Control cash receipts, conduct cash counts and closings, and deposit amounts in labeled envelopes into the safe for accounting. * Proactively and effectively handle guest inquiries, requests, complaints, or claims. * Uphold the hotel's public image by consistently providing warm and professional service. * Provide operational support to other departments as directed by the area supervisor. * Read shift handover notes at the start of the shift and record any relevant information in the logbook for subsequent shifts. * Verify room rates according to category and agreements with companies/agencies. * Request credit card guarantees for individual guests (not companies). * Carry out invoicing and issue domestic or export invoices, either for direct consumption or credit transactions with agencies and companies. * Keep the work area organized and classify documentation for submission to accounting. * Plan group arrivals, assign rooms, and prepare corresponding keys. * Coordinate special requests with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Food \& Beverage departments. * Receive restaurant payments and issue corresponding documentation. * Inform guests at check\-in about available services and promote their usage to optimize sales.
