You will be part of a team driving innovation and operational excellence La Portada Company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join its team at the Salto Grande plant in Puerto Montt. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop and enhance your technical skills in a dynamic and continuously growing environment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing and supervising mechanical, electrical, electronic, and programming maintenance activities on equipment, machinery, and infrastructure during your shift, ensuring operational continuity in accordance with internal standards and the Energy Management System (ISO 50001:2018\). Your key responsibilities will include coordinating and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance both onsite and in the workshop, supervising work performed by contractors, conducting periodic inspections to identify and record anomalies, and executing specific maintenance of the Pontoon and its equipment. Additionally, you will manage tools and equipment efficiently, ensuring their organization, cleanliness, and maintenance of critical supply stock. It is essential that you ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations and Energy Management System standards. We seek candidates with mid- or higher-level technical education in fields such as Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, Industrial Electrical Maintenance, or related disciplines. Proficiency in logic programming, industrial and domestic electricity, welding, oxy-cutting equipment operation, and experience using metrology tools is essential. Prior experience in similar roles—preferably in process plants—is highly valued.
