**Confial Consultores** November 14, 2025 ### **Uncategorized** #### **Key Points** Puerto Montt Full\-time Negotiable Indefinite #### **Job Details** ### **Job Responsibilities** AKVA group Land Based, a global leader in the design and development of automated systems for fish farms (RAS), requires to incorporate into its project team: **Commissioning Engineer** **(Startup Engineer)** **Base Location: Puerto Montt** **Job Mission:** Participate in the commissioning of RAS systems, primarily for clients in Chile and also for other international projects. **Main Responsibilities:** * Field commissioning and delivery of AKVA projects. * Preparation of commissioning checklists and reports, procedures, and training materials related to the project. * On-site testing of servers, clients, and networks in collaboration with SCADA programmers. * Verify that mechanical installation complies with P\&ID drawings. * Perform I/O testing of electrical components. * Conduct client handover and training during commissioning. * Client training related to commissioning. * Support the Project Manager with technical input and quality control of specific project function descriptions. * Provide remote support to clients, including support calls and emails. * Maintain and preserve documentation and records according to company standards. * Continuous improvement of existing commissioning tools and materials. * Meet project execution deadlines. * Ensure quality assurance in project team deliverables. ### **Job Requirements** Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related field. Experience in troubleshooting electrical components and modifications to electrical panels. Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English is an essential requirement. Programming experience in PLC and SCADA is desirable. Technical Applications: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, E\-plan. Knowledge of quality standards and regulations for electrical panels and installations. Experience in project-based organizations. At least two years of experience in similar roles.
