A prestigious higher education institution is seeking a CLOUD Engineer. The individual will be responsible for designing a cutting-edge Cloud architecture, and implementing and maintaining technological solutions based on this architecture to meet the institution's technology strategy. The required design must utilize the most up-to-date features of public cloud and include dimensions of networking, security, virtualization, and automation. Main Responsibilities: * Research and document the latest Cloud infrastructure services with potential for institutional applications. * Design cloud infrastructure architectures that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. * Implement and manage cloud services such as virtual machine instances, storage, databases, and networks. * Develop and maintain security policies to protect data and systems hosted in the cloud. * Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using automation and orchestration tools. * Monitor the performance and availability of cloud services, proactively identifying and resolving issues. * Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and ensure interoperability. * Research and evaluate new cloud technologies and services to improve efficiency and innovation. * Provide technical support and guidance to other organizational teams in the use of cloud infrastructure. Application Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field. * 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. * Experience in workload virtualization and implementation of Landing Zones in public cloud. * Knowledge of information security and its implementation in public cloud environments (Zero Trust). * Advanced technical English proficiency in reading and writing, enabling comprehension of technical documentation in English and written communication with international experts.
