About the role Join Ausenco Chile's Civil discipline. Develop large-scale earthworks designs, defining governing design criteria based on the physicochemical, geotechnical, and geophysical properties of soils, as well as applicable national and international codes and standards. Design earthworks primarily associated with leach pads, waste dumps, retaining walls, roads, ponds, and mining process plants. Lead and support a team of Civil Designers with technical information and guidelines to develop 3D models using Autodesk and/or Bentley CAD platforms, producing deliverables such as design criteria, technical specifications, plan and profile drawings, cross-sections, earthworks details, 3D surface models, trade-off studies based on volume calculations of alternatives, among others. About you Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Works or equivalent. Minimum 10 years’ experience designing large-scale earthworks for pads, dumps, roads, walls, ponds, process plants, sanitation works, structures, etc. Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil design and/or construction for industrial or road infrastructure. Minimum 10 years’ experience coordinating the Civil discipline in multidisciplinary projects. Knowledge of Geotechnics. Intermediate–Advanced knowledge of surveying and geodetic systems.
