Training in emerging technologies Network and Security Camera Installer Technician La Araucanía Region A regional technology solutions company is seeking a Telecommunications and CCTV Installer Technician to join its field project team. The role involves installing, configuring, and commissioning data networks, video surveillance systems, and telecommunications equipment at businesses and educational institutions across the region. We seek a responsible individual with experience in technical installations and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Job Responsibilities • Installation of structured cabling (UTP, fiber optic, and coaxial). • Installation and configuration of security cameras (CCTV and IP cameras). • Configuration of NVRs, DVRs, and monitoring software. • Installation of network infrastructure (racks, switches, routers, and wireless links). • Conduit routing and tray or piping assembly for cabling. • Diagnostics and resolution of network and video surveillance system faults. • Preventive and corrective maintenance of installed equipment. • Conducting connectivity and functionality tests. • Providing basic technical support to customers for using installed systems. Requirements • Technical degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. • Experience installing networks or security cameras (ideally 1–3 years). • Basic knowledge of IP networks. • Fieldwork experience. • Proficiency with installation and measurement tools. • Class B driver’s license (preferred).
