We combine technical analysis, planned maintenance, and asset management to reduce failures and sustain operational continuity. We seek a Reliability Engineer who can analyze equipment and facility performance, identify root causes of failures, and develop strategies to improve long-term performance. You will not be limited to reacting to breakdowns. You will work preventively using historical data, maintenance indicators, technical inspections, and risk analysis to reduce interruptions and optimize available resources. You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, safety, and external suppliers. You will serve as a technical reference for defining priorities, evaluating recurring issues, and verifying that implemented improvements yield measurable results. **Why Work With Us:** **Direct Impact on Operations:** Your analyses will help reduce failures, downtime, and maintenance costs. **Technical Responsibility:** You will participate in defining reliability strategies, preventive maintenance, and asset management. **Diverse Projects:** You will work with mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and auxiliary systems deployed across various operational environments. **Interdisciplinary Collaboration:** You will collaborate with maintenance, production, safety, planning, procurement, and specialized suppliers. **Data-Driven Decisions:** We use indicators, failure histories, and technical analyses to prioritize interventions and improvements. **Professional Development:** You will have access to training in reliability, predictive maintenance, failure analysis, and asset management. **Location in Temuco:** Our office is located on Claro Solar, near the city center, services, and transportation links. **Key Responsibilities:** **Failure Analysis:** Investigate recurring failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions. **Maintenance Strategies:** Develop and update preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance plans. **Reliability Monitoring:** Analyze availability, failure frequency, repair times, and asset performance. **Root Cause Analysis:** Lead or support technical investigations using structured methodologies. **Criticality Assessment:** Classify equipment based on its impact on safety, production, continuity, and cost. **Predictive Maintenance:** Coordinate inspections, vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication, and other monitoring techniques. **KPI Management:** Prepare and review metrics such as availability, MTBF, MTTR, maintenance compliance, and failure recurrence. **Asset Optimization:** Propose technical improvements to extend equipment service life and increase efficiency. **Intervention Planning:** Support preparation of major maintenance activities, scheduled shutdowns, and component replacements. **Information Management:** Maintain up-to-date technical histories, maintenance plans, equipment lists, and failure records. **Technical Coordination:** Work with operations, maintenance, engineering, and suppliers to execute improvement actions. **Results Verification:** Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make adjustments as needed. **What We’re Looking For:** **Experience:** Minimum three years of experience in maintenance, reliability, asset management, or plant engineering. **Education:** Professional degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. **Maintenance:** Knowledge of preventive, predictive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance strategies. **Technical Analysis:** Experience in root cause analysis, failure modes, criticality assessment, and risk evaluation. **Equipment:** Familiarity with motors, pumps, electrical systems, mechanical components, and industrial equipment. **Maintenance Systems:** Familiarity with CMMS, ERP, or other work order management platforms. **Data Analysis:** Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to interpret technical and operational indicators. **Documentation:** Ability to prepare reports, procedures, inspection plans, and technical recommendations. **Safety:** Knowledge of industrial safety practices, lockout/tagout, and risk control. **Communication:** Ability to explain problems and recommendations to technical teams and operational stakeholders. **Driver’s License:** Valid Class B driver’s license, due to potential site visits or project assignments. **Languages:** Fluent Spanish and technical English for documentation, manuals, and communication with suppliers. **Professional Approach:** Analytical thinking, attention to detail, autonomy, and prevention-oriented mindset.
