Job Summary: We are seeking a Battery Installation Technician to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of battery systems across various equipment, contributing to system efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Safe and efficient battery installation in vehicles and energy systems 2. Preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution 3. Customer consultation on battery usage and replacement options We are looking for a Battery Installation Technician to join the team of one of our key clients in the hardware retail and distribution industry in Puerto Montt. The primary objective will be to ensure correct installation, maintenance, and repair of battery systems across various types of equipment, guaranteeing proper installation, operation, and maintenance of batteries, thereby supporting the efficiency and safety of the systems in which they operate. Key responsibilities include: * Properly install batteries in vehicles, machinery, or energy systems, ensuring safe and efficient mounting. * Verify proper battery operation after installation, confirming adequate charging and absence of faults. * Perform preventive and corrective battery maintenance, including terminal cleaning, charge verification, and replacement of defective components. * Diagnose and resolve battery-related and electrical system faults, providing effective and timely solutions. * Advise customers on proper battery usage, estimate battery lifespan, and recommend optimal battery replacement or system upgrade options. Application Requirements: * Technical degree in electromechanics, mechanics, electronics, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in related positions. * Class B driver's license (mandatory) Employment Conditions: On-site work schedule from Monday to Saturday Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:15 hrs. Saturday, 10:00–15:45 hrs.
