Job Summary: ARAUCO is seeking a Laboratory Assistant for BioForest, responsible for performing productive or research tasks in accordance with safety and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform laboratory tasks in accordance with safety and environmental standards. 2. Collaborate in area management and achievement of objectives. 3. We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges******.*** ARAUCO seeks graduates of Higher-Level Technical programs for the position of **Laboratory Assistant**, based at its BioForest offices in Coronel. The **purpose of this position** is to carry out assigned productive and/or research tasks and activities in compliance with established environmental, safety, and occupational health norms and/or procedures defined by Bioforest S.A. and/or their supervisor. Key **responsibilities** include: * Comply with internal safety regulations, maintenance and equipment usage guidelines, and proper use of environmental, safety, and occupational health preventive tools required for laboratory activities. * Perform assigned tasks or activities according to specified quality parameters; periodically report progress on assigned tasks. * Inform supervisors of any issues related to assigned tasks or activities to jointly identify solutions. * Request necessary materials and supplies to support continuous work performance. * Collaborate in area management and achievement of departmental objectives. * Propose applicable improvements in the work area related to operations and/or safety. * Actively participate in training programs and coordination meetings to remain updated on knowledge essential for current work. * Comply with internal, legal, environmental, and occupational risk prevention regulations required by the company. **Requirements:** * Graduates of Medium/Superior Technical programs (Mandatory) * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Desirable) ***At ARAUCO, we work daily to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
