We consider inclusion and diversity as fundamental aspects for meeting present and future challenges******.*** ARAUCO is looking for a **Continuous Improvement Engineer** to join the **Continuous Improvement Management team of the Pulp Business**, based at the **Nueva Aldea Plant**, under a **100% on-site work modality**. **Position Objective** Ensure the implementation and sustainability of the Management Model at the Nueva Aldea Plant, with a focus on risk management and structured problem resolution. You will support Operations, Maintenance, and support teams in activating practices, managing change, improving their processes, and implementing digital transformation initiatives. Additionally, you must use data and digital tools to identify gaps, guide decision-making, and mobilize concrete actions together with leaders and teams. **Main Responsibilities** * Implement and accompany, on-site, the activation of Management Model practices. * Support the identification, assessment, and management of risks, ensuring consistency among processes, tasks, risks, and controls. * Facilitate problem-solving processes—from definition and root cause analysis to implementation and verification of corrective actions. * Support Operations, Maintenance, and support teams in process improvement and change management. * Analyze operational data to identify gaps, deviations, and improvement opportunities that help guide model activation. * Use digital tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, and artificial intelligence solutions to support Management Model implementation, facilitate monitoring and decision-making, improve traceability, and contribute to process simplification and enhancement. * Present progress, gaps, and improvement proposals to Superintendents and plant teams. * Act autonomously and proactively, driving solutions and following up until effective implementation. **Requirements** * Education: Industrial Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related degree. * Experience in continuous improvement, risk management, problem solving, process analysis, or management model implementation. * Ability to analyze information and apply it to gap identification and management. * Desired knowledge and proficiency in digital tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, and AI-based solutions applied to management. * Desired experience in industrial plants and working with Operations and Maintenance teams. * Availability to work **100% on-site at the Nueva Aldea Plant.** **Competencies** * Analytical capability and results orientation. * Proactivity, autonomy, and rigor in follow-up. * Ability to approach problems in a structured manner. * Influence and leadership. * Effective communication across all organizational levels. * Adaptability, continuous learning, and openness to adopting new technologies. * Orientation toward fieldwork, change management, and continuous improvement.
