At Sergio Escobar, we are currently seeking a People Generalist for the city of Concepción, who will join the People team with the objective of ensuring efficient, timely, and rigorous management of Human Resources processes—including full payroll calculation, attendance tracking, and document management—while ensuring compliance with current labor regulations and delivering close, reliable, and high-quality service to internal customers.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Execute the complete monthly payroll calculation process, including salaries, overtime hours, bonuses, deductions, statutory contributions, and final settlements.
* Manage and reconcile payments of pension and health insurance contributions.
* Prepare employment contracts, addendums, agreements, termination agreements, and other labor documentation associated with the employee lifecycle.
* Administer and maintain up-to-date physical and digital employee files, safeguarding confidential information.
* Manage attendance, work shifts, overtime hours, and working hours control.
* Administer medical leaves, permits, and vacations.
* Prepare payroll, attendance, and people management reports and analyses for managers and internal departments.
* Address and advise employees regarding labor and administrative inquiries.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and current labor regulations.
**Requirements:**
* Professional degree in Accounting and Auditing, Business Engineering, Business Administration Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience handling end-to-end payroll processes (salary calculation, statutory contributions, termination agreements, and final settlements).
* Solid knowledge of Chilean labor legislation.
* Proven experience with ERP BUK, particularly in the payroll module.
* Proficiency in Excel.
* Experience with attendance control systems (Talana, GeoVictoria, or others).
* Strong orientation toward organization, confidentiality, service, and teamwork.
