This role aims to strengthen the organization’s payment methods architecture, operation, and evolution, acting as a strategic partner that combines technical and business vision. The Payment Methods Consultant/Project Lead will provide ongoing support in evaluating, optimizing, monitoring, and innovating the payment platform, contributing to a more efficient, secure, and competitive operation. This position seeks to achieve the following objectives: * **Strengthen and optimize** the current payment methods architecture, ensuring its scalability, security, and availability. * **Improve operational efficiency**, reducing incidents and, consequently, associated operational costs. * **Increase integration capability** with switches, payment networks, and new players in the financial ecosystem. * **Support the business** in analyzing and defining requirements, facilitating decision-making. * **Reduce time\-to\-market** for new payment-related products and functionalities. **Responsibilities and Authorities** The Payment Methods Consultant/Project Lead will provide ongoing support across the following areas: **1\. Evaluation and Diagnosis:** * Evaluate the current payment methods architecture, including switches and integrations. * Review critical processes such as authorization, clearing, and reconciliation. * Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. **2\. Operational Optimization:** * Analyze recurring incidents and propose improvements to availability and resilience. * Develop a roadmap including action plans and initiative tracking. * Optimize operational processes to achieve greater efficiency. **3\. Business Support:** * Gather and analyze requirements for new products and functionalities. * Evaluate innovation initiatives related to payment products. * Facilitate alignment between business and technology teams. * Prioritize initiatives based on feasibility and business need. **4\. Monitoring:** * Develop an evolution roadmap along with key deliverables definition. * Continuously monitor implemented initiatives. * Provide support in executing and continuously improving processes. **5\. Innovation Support:** * Identify improvement opportunities and evaluate integrations with new players. * Support the execution of digital initiatives aimed at enhancing user experience and payment system effectiveness. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background:** * University degree in Industrial Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Business Administration Engineering, Economics, or related fields. * Relevant certifications in project management or payment technologies will be valued. **Experience:** * Approximately 8 years of experience in the payment methods industry or financial services. * Proven experience in evaluating and optimizing payment architectures. * Practical knowledge of system integration with switches and payment networks. **Technical Skills:** * In-depth understanding of payment authorization, clearing, and reconciliation processes. * Familiarity with data analysis and project management tools. * Knowledge of agile methodologies and team and project management tools. **Interpersonal Skills:** * Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business and technology teams. * Negotiation and conflict resolution skills. * Proactivity and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. **Competencies:** * Analytical thinking and results orientation. * Ability to identify problems and propose innovative solutions. * Flexibility and adaptability to changes in technological and business environments. **Additional Information** Hybrid work model (3 days per week onsite) Are you looking for a place where your ideas shine?
