




Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Unix/Linux Systems Engineer to administer, design, and automate critical platforms, with emphasis on operations, modernization, and cloud migration. Role focused on operations, modernization, and cloud migration. **What will be your challenge?** We seek a **Senior Unix/Linux Systems Engineer** with solid experience in administering, designing, and automating critical platforms. The candidate must possess extensive knowledge of **Red Hat (Linux)**, **enterprise middleware (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss)**, and **DevOps practices**, as well as hands-on experience with **AWS services**, automation using **Ansible**, and scripting in **Shell**. The role focuses on infrastructure operations and modernization, management of critical environments, cloud migration, process automation, and corporate application support. **Job Requirements** **Education:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * Postgraduate degree or specialization in Cloud Computing, DevOps, or Security is desirable. * **10+ years** of experience administering Unix/Linux platforms in critical environments. * Proven experience with Solaris, AIX, and Red Hat. * Experience supporting high-traffic enterprise platforms. * Experience in automation and infrastructure-as-code. * Experience in banking, retail, or financial services firms is desirable. **What we look for in you:** * Operating Systems: Solaris (SPARC, LDOMs), AIX, Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu. * Cloud: AWS (EC2, IAM, application migration). * DevOps: Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub. * Scripting: Shell (Bash/Korn). * Middleware: WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss. * Virtualization & Containers: Docker, VMware virtualization. * Infrastructure: ZFS storage, networking, NFS, file systems. * Security: hardening, Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP), vulnerability mitigation. **Desirable / Plus** * Certifications in AWS, Azure, Red Hat, Ansible, Datadog, or equivalent. * Familiarity with ELK stack tools (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). * Experience in cloud migration projects. ________________________________________________________________________________ **Work Modality** * On-site / hybrid / remote (as required by the company). * Availability for shift work or after-hours support as needed for incidents.
