Job Summary: We are seeking a Tractor/Backhoe Loader Operator to work in Chillán, Ñuble, performing firebreak construction, mechanized weed control, and basic machinery maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate tractor and backhoe loader for land maintenance. 2. Construct firebreaks and perform mechanized weed control. 3. Conduct pre-use inspection and basic equipment maintenance. We are currently seeking a Tractor/Backhoe Loader Operator to work at one of our clients’ facilities located in Chillán, Ñuble. Main Responsibilities: Operate tractor (plow/disc harrow) to construct firebreaks in the lagoon sector according to the Client’s layout/drawing. Perform mechanized weed control in the lagoon sector and other areas, as per seasonal schedule (Nov–Feb). Operate backhoe loader when required by terrain conditions. Coordinate with Supervisor and support crew (brush cutters) for touch-ups and finishing tasks. Place/store resulting material in the designated area (within lagoons, Riles treatment). Perform pre-use inspection, checklist, and basic maintenance (lubrication, fluid levels, fault reporting). Comply with work permits and site safety controls. Requirements: Academic qualification: Completed secondary education. Minimum 2 years’ experience operating machinery for land maintenance (tractor with plow/disc harrow and/or backhoe loader). Valid Class D driver’s license. Execution of mechanized weed control, firebreak preparation, and land cleaning. Basic maintenance and daily equipment checks. Signage and safe maneuvering in industrial sites. · Conditions: Full-time working hours. Fixed-term contract with possibility of indefinite extension.
