Through internal selection processes, we aim to identify top candidates for promotion to other positions, aligning company requirements with our people’s motivations.*** **At ARAUCO**, we are seeking individuals with a Medium-Level Technical qualification and/or studies in Industrial Mechanics, with at least 5 years of experience, to work as **Machine Tool Operators**, in the Chillán area. **What will you do?** Perform machining tasks on parts and mechanical components by operating conventional and/or CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality standards. Contribute to the operational continuity of the Forestry area by working under safety, order, and workshop/equipment care standards. **What do we expect from you?** * Operate conventional and/or CNC lathes and milling machines, machining parts according to drawings, technical specifications, and established quality standards. * Set up and adjust machine tools, cutting tools, and clamping devices, ensuring safe and optimal operating conditions. * Interpret mechanical drawings, work orders, and dimensional tolerances for correct fabrication or repair of components. * Verify and control dimensions and quality of machined parts using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, among others). * Maintain order, cleanliness, and care of machines, tools, and work areas, complying with safety, quality, and basic maintenance standards. **What do you need to apply?** * Medium-level technical qualification and/or studies in Industrial Mechanics. * 5 years: Experience in Metallurgical-Mechanical fields, Lathe Operator, Milling Machine Operator, among others. * Specific knowledge: Mechanical lathe, mechanical milling machine, mechanical hand tools. * Class B driver’s license (Mandatory requirement). * Availability to work rotating shifts (5 x 2). * Residence in the Chillán area and/or surrounding regions. **What do we offer you?** * Opportunities for professional development and growth * An inclusive and continuously supportive work environment * Additional benefits and competitive compensation ***At ARAUCO, we work daily to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
