




Job Summary: We are seeking a Vehicle Appraiser Technician to evaluate and inspect used vehicles, ensuring accurate mechanical, structural, and aesthetic valuation for inclusion into the sales inventory. At Sergio Escobar, we are currently looking for a Vehicle Appraiser Technician to join our team in the city of Los Ángeles. The main objective of this position is to evaluate and inspect used vehicles, ensuring accurate mechanical, structural, and aesthetic valuation to incorporate them into the company’s sales inventory. Main Responsibilities: * Receive vehicles for inspection and appraisal. * Visually inspect vehicles internally and externally to identify mechanical, structural, and aesthetic damage. * Take detailed photographic records of vehicles. * Perform mechanical inspections and road tests according to the established checklist. * Use specialized tools to diagnose issues and determine the overall condition of vehicles. * Refer vehicles to the workshop for more thorough evaluations when necessary. * Determine a preliminary vehicle value following technical evaluation and appraisal. * Establish the final vehicle value after a detailed inspection. * Record complete information in systems such as Autopress or other equivalent software. * Update repossession records in Drive after closing deals. Job Requirements: * Degree in Automotive Mechanical Engineering, Higher-Level Technical Degree in Automotive Mechanics, or related field. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in vehicle evaluation and appraisal. * Class B driver’s license (Mandatory).
