JRI Ingeniería is currently seeking Civil Metallurgical Engineers or Civil Chemical Engineers to work as Specialists in the company's Process Area, based in the Metropolitan Region. REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Metallurgy or Chemistry, or Civil Engineering with a major in Metallurgy or Chemistry. More than 8 years of experience in process consulting for metallurgical mining projects or in mining operations at concentrator plants, hydrometallurgical plants, or non-metallic mining (knowledge in FURE is desirable). Experience in engineering consulting firms is desirable. Familiarity with specific software such as METSIM, JKSimmet, Promodel, Bruno, Aggflow, Plantdesigner, among others is desirable. Proficiency in AutoCAD is desirable. Intermediate written and spoken English skills are desirable. Postgraduate studies (Master’s or Doctorate) are desirable. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead statistical analysis of operational data. Manage, participate in, and lead Trade-Off type studies. Lead process simulations. Lead the development of process documents such as design criteria, flow diagrams, equipment sizing, and material balances. Lead and develop operating cost estimates (OPEX). Support multidisciplinary reviews of engineering documentation, both technical and economic. Availability to perform field work.
