At **JCS Logistics and Transportation**, a leading company in hazardous and forestry cargo transportation, we are seeking an **Electromechanical Technician** to join our team at the fleet maintenance workshop located at our Head Office in Talcahuano. In this position, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive maintenance plans on **mechanical and electrical systems**, ensuring operational continuity under standards of excellence, quality, and safety. Key functions and responsibilities: * Diagnose and resolve equipment failures. * Timely request replacement materials and spare parts. * Participate in field repairs and support workshops as required by operational needs. * Maintain order and proper care of tools and facilities. * Record activities in information management platforms. * Collaborate in training activities and promote organizational culture. **Job Profile Requirements:** * **Intermediate or higher technical education** in Electromechanics, Automotive Mechanics for Heavy Machinery, or related fields. * **Minimum 2 years’ verifiable experience** in truck maintenance tasks. * Knowledge of **electronic and electromechanical systems** in heavy machinery. * Residence no more than 20 km from the base location. **Employment Conditions:** * Location: Talcahuano, Biobío Region. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (1-hour lunch break), and Saturday, 09:00–13:00. * Contract type: Initial fixed-term contract, followed by an indefinite-term contract subject to performance evaluation. * Access to supplementary health insurance, affiliation and preferential partnerships with Los Andes Compensation Fund, daily meal allowance, and a safe, respectful work environment supporting your professional development.
