The position is based at our client's technical office in Concepción, Chile, combined with Wood offices. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. * Civil Engineer or related discipline * Minimum of 5 years of experience managing contracts in engineering projects * Availability to work in Concepción * Experience with EPC, EPCM contracts * Experience with unit price and lump sum contracts * Thorough knowledge and mastery of the technical and administrative foundations of a contract, demonstrating ability to review and challenge Change Orders raised by contractors, clarity in arguments used to ensure compliance with technical specifications, etc. * Field availability and experience * 100% onsite work availability * Estimated contract duration of 2 years * Preparation and development of tender packages * Lead tender/evaluation processes. * Manage various project contracts. * Process contract modifications. * Budget review and change management. * Reporting. * Contractual management: monitoring and controlling contractors' compliance with contractual obligations. * Administrative management: review and handling of commercial proposals, invoices, payment statements, guarantee letters, etc. * Control and management of formal communications with contractors. * Prepare periodic contract cost trend (forecast) reports. * Analysis, definition, and proposal of contract types and payment methods to be applied. * Development of performance indicators (KPIs) and determination of penalties. * Alerts and anticipation of potential claims or other issues. * Review correct entry/accounting of contracts in SAP.
