**Installation Assistant \- Glasstech (Santiago) (4 vacancies)** **Civil Works Assistant** ============================================================================================= ### **CONTACT INFORMATION** **Company:** Glasstech S.A. **Economic activity:** Manufacture of glass products, n.e.c. ### **DESCRIPTION** \- Assist the Installation Foreman in carrying out installation tasks for glass, insulating glass units, windows, railings, skylights, partitions, façades, or other systems. \- Prepare and transport materials, tools, and equipment to the worksite, ensuring their proper use and safekeeping. \- Participate in the assembly, leveling, and adjustment of structures, frames, and complementary components under supervision. \- Perform cleaning, sealing, and finishing of installed products, adhering to Glasstech’s technical and quality specifications. \- Load, unload, and move materials at the worksite or on transport vehicles, safeguarding their integrity and ensuring correct handling. \- Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper storage of tools at the worksite and in assigned vehicles. \- Assist in controlling installed materials, verifying that components match the project or drawings provided. \- Support identification and resolution of minor issues, promptly reporting them to the Foreman or Installation Supervisor. \- Comply with safety instructions and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by the company and applicable regulations. \- Acquire technical knowledge about the various products and installation systems handled by Glasstech (e.g., laminated glass, tempered glass, insulating glass units, curtain walls, etc.). \- Carry out any other tasks assigned by management that fall within the scope and responsibilities of the position.
