We are seeking an OCCUPATIONAL RISK PREVENTION ENGINEER residing in Mejillones or the northern sector of Antofagasta — **with or without experience**.

We need someone with strong organizational and planning skills, as well as a proactive, disciplined, and rigorous attitude.
**Responsibilities**
* Advise area supervisors on occupational risk prevention matters so they may deliver safety talks to workers at the start of each shift, or deliver such talks personally.
* Prepare a manual for area supervisors containing relevant topics for daily safety talks.
* Plan annual goals regarding implementation of procedures under the Occupational Risk Prevention Program.
* Schedule monthly operational activities related to the Occupational Risk Prevention Program.
* Evaluate daily (accumulated monthly) the implementation of scheduled monthly activities in occupational risk prevention topics.
* Annually and by department, quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate compliance with implementation goals for procedures established under the Occupational Risk Prevention Program.
* Prepare evaluation reports outlining results and progress achieved.
* Define corrective actions based on monthly evaluation results and schedule them as follow-up activities in the next month’s manual.
* Actively participate in operations, supervising and correcting on-site execution of procedures stipulated in the Occupational Risk Prevention Program.
* In case of accidents, accompany the worker to the polyclinic.
* Prepare a monthly report documenting incidents and/or accidents occurring during the period.
* Investigate accident causes and implement appropriate measures to prevent recurrence.
**Requirements**
* Formal academic degree in Occupational Risk Prevention Engineering (mandatory)
* Certification from the National Health Service as an occupational risk prevention expert.
* Valid exempt resolution
**Offered Net Salary**
* CLP 1,200,000 net
