We are seeking an IT Support Technician for an important port company located in the Antofagasta region. **About the challenge:** * You will provide user support, both hardware and software, for the terminal network managed through a ticketing system, on-call mobile phone, or by instructions from the area supervisor. * You will perform security monitoring tasks and software inventory management for PCs, Notebooks, Handhelds, and Tablets. * You will manage incidents related to any unplanned interruption or reduction in service quality, applying diagnostic/solution procedures or escalating as appropriate, particularly regarding TOS SIGOP, Weighing System, and Customer Integration. * You will recover deleted files and folders from servers as required. * You will monitor the antivirus protection status of computing equipment, alerts for unprocessed objects, pending updates through the Kaspersky console. * You will install, configure, and maintain PCs, Notebooks, Handheld devices, Tablets, and printers. **What we would love from you?** * You have a technical or engineering background in computing, communications, connectivity, networks, or related fields. * You have at least 2 years of experience. * It will be very important that you possess knowledge in the fundamentals of Hardware, Software, and Data Networks. * Your motivation, commitment, proactivity, organization, and structure. * Interpersonal and communication skills (you will work directly with internal clients). **What do we offer you?** * The opportunity to become part of a great company, with multiple benefits and professional development options. * We ensure a confidential selection process; if you are currently employed, you can apply with us safely. * If selected, the company will sign a fixed-term contract with you for 3 months, with the possibility of renewal to an indefinite contract. * The working schedule for this position is designed as a 7x7 shift. * The physical workplace will be in Mejillones (the company will provide daily lunch at its cafeteria and round-trip transportation bus to and from the city of Antofagasta or the commune of Mejillones, as applicable). * Some relevant benefits include vacation bonus, additional bonus in December, birth bonus, marriage bonus, etc. Regarding compensation, this is something we must negotiate.
