Job Description Summary The incumbent will be responsible for supervising the execution of equipment maintenance programs and plans, as well as work arising from unforeseen events, at the site workshop, to ensure completion of maintenance and repair activities under the contract, identifying requirements for human and material resources, taking action according to operational variability, and adhering to company standards while ensuring compliance with technical and administrative procedures, thereby contributing to AOP achievement and optimizing utilization of assigned resources. Key responsibilities include: - Prioritizing maintenance tasks due during the shift, coordinating with the Mine Shift Manager (Client) and Operations Manager (Finning). - Assigning tasks to personnel based on required skills and knowledge to ensure safe and efficient plan execution. - Securing resources needed to perform tasks, such as spare parts, repairs, material support, and tools. - Monitoring workers during task execution to promptly identify and remove obstacles, and ensuring maintenance procedures are performed in accordance with factory and FCSA specifications. - Conducting safety talks. - Reviewing procedures and risk assessments with team members. - Evaluating and providing feedback on team and individual performance. - Recommending training, salary adjustments, and promotions. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical (Electronic) Engineering, with 5 years of experience working with mining equipment and responsibilities involving personnel management and equipment maintenance. - University Technical Degree with 10 years of experience in mining equipment maintenance. - Knowledge of CAT repair procedures. - Class B driver’s license for operation within mine premises. - Residence in Antofagasta.
