




Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced CNC bending machine operator to configure, verify, and perform in-process quality control of the bending process, optimize cycle times, and carry out basic maintenance. Proactivity, planning, and workplace order are highly valued. We seek an operator with extensive experience operating CNC bending machines to work in Linares. Duties are performed in the CNC section, with continuous reporting to the workshop supervisor. Key responsibilities include configuring bending parameters according to the production order, verifying first-piece output, and performing in-process quality control. Additional responsibilities include optimizing cycle times to minimize rejects, performing basic preventive maintenance on the machine, handling workshop tools, and interpreting engineering drawings. Knowledge of programming languages, standardized symbol systems, and measurement of part tolerances is required. This is a fixed-term contract, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00. Salary follows the Jaén metallurgical and steelworkers’ collective agreement. Proactive individuals with strong planning skills and workplace order are preferred. * Demonstrable experience operating CNC bending machines (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, or similar). * Knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation, tolerances, and standardized symbols. * Ability to perform programming directly at the machine and/or using associated software. * Adjustment of tooling, selection of tools, and dimensional control of parts. * Proficiency in using measuring instruments (calipers, vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.). * Adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
