About the Role **Acaent Research and Environmental Services** is looking for an **Occupational Health Physician** to join our team in **Valparaíso, Valparaíso Region**. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the organization’s occupational health management, assessing work-related health conditions, participating in preventive programs, and advising various departments on matters related to fitness for work, health surveillance, and risk prevention. You will work closely with teams from **Human Resources, Risk Prevention, Operations, Safety, Administration, and Occupational Health Providers** to ensure orderly, preventive, and compliant medical management aligned with internal requirements and applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities * Conduct medical evaluations related to occupational health. * Review relevant clinical records for fitness-for-work assessments. * Support onboarding, follow-up, and return-to-work processes. * Participate in health surveillance programs. * Issue medical recommendations within the scope of occupational health. * Coordinate referrals as appropriate. * Collaborate with risk prevention teams to identify relevant exposures. * Participate in job-specific evaluations. * Support management of prolonged absenteeism cases. * Maintain up-to-date occupational medical records. * Safeguard confidentiality of clinical information. * Participate in preventive and educational campaigns. * Prepare aggregated occupational health reports when required. * Advise supervisors and Human Resources on occupational medical matters. * Participate in occupational safety and health meetings. * Review recommendations from regulatory agencies when applicable. * Support occupational epidemiological surveillance processes. * Identify health trends requiring preventive action. * Participate in internal audits related to occupational health. * Perform other clinical and preventive functions related to occupational medicine. Requirements * Professional degree of **Medical Surgeon**, recognized for practice in Chile. * Valid registration with the **Superintendence of Health**, where applicable. * Experience in occupational health, occupational medicine, clinical occupational care, or related fields is highly valued. * Knowledge of fitness-for-work evaluation. * General knowledge of occupational health surveillance. * Ability to interpret clinical and occupational history. * Strong communication skills with patients and internal teams. * Ability to work interdisciplinarily. * High standards of confidentiality and professional ethics. * Strong organizational and documentation skills. * Ability to make sound and prudent clinical decisions. Desirable Qualifications * Training or diploma in **Occupational Health, Occupational Medicine, Ergonomics, Public Health**, or a related field. * Experience in industrial, environmental, logistics, or service companies. * Familiarity with occupational surveillance protocols. * Experience in return-to-work evaluations. * Knowledge of absenteeism management. * Experience working with risk prevention teams. * Knowledge of Chilean legislation related to occupational health and safety. * Experience with electronic health records. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Intermediate English proficiency is valued.
