An important **food retail company** is looking for a **Purchasing Manager**, specialized in **meat, fruits and vegetables**, who will be responsible for ensuring the availability, quality and profitability of the products sold, maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers and guaranteeing efficient and timely purchasing processes. **Main responsibilities:** * Prospect, identify and negotiate prices with suppliers, establishing competitive and sustainable commercial agreements. * Periodically analyze market prices, margins and conditions, proposing continuous improvements. * Control documentation and administrative management associated with each purchase (quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, etc.). * Supervise the entire purchasing process: internal request, product receipt and presentation in sales areas. * Keep price lists and product catalogs updated. * Prepare periodic management reports, budgets and expense controls. * Weekly visit sales areas to supervise product assortment, rotation and performance. * Manage internal requests and coordinate solutions with suppliers. * Identify market trends and propose new business opportunities. **Ideal profile:** * Professional degree: **Commercial Engineering or related field.** * Minimum experience: **5 years in similar roles, preferably in retail, supermarkets or food industries.** * Knowledge in: * **Price analysis and cost control.** * **Inventory and stock management.** * **Basic logistics and supplier coordination.** * **Preparation of management reports and document control.** * **Intermediate or advanced level in Excel and Microsoft Office.** * ERP knowledge desirable (Softland, SAP or others). * Residence in **Concepción or surrounding areas (desirable).** * **Class B driver's license (ideal).** **Working hours:** * **Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:30 hrs / Saturday from 9:00 to 13:00 hrs.** If you meet the requirements and are willing to take on a new challenge in a company recognized for its strength, quality and innovation in the industry, apply now and boost your professional development with us!
