Candidates must hold a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering, Forestry Execution Engineering, Forestry Engineering, or Industrial Execution Engineering, to work as a Production Scheduler at our Valdivia Wood Complex within the Wood business unit, located in San Jose de la Mariquina. The main objective of this role is to schedule production for each workstation within the area, optimizing available resources while maintaining balance and controlling order fulfillment, programs, and target indicators. **Main responsibilities include:** * Develop the area's production plan into weekly and shift-based schedules. * Provide required information for shift programming. * Monitor program compliance during each shift and at each workstation using SAP. * Review workload per workstation each week, creating weekly schedules. * Prioritize orders based on delivery dates and raw material availability. * Report progress on Planing and Drying plans (reviewing balances, projections, and achievements). * Balance productivity indicators against order fulfillment. * Optimize production according to available plant technology. * Support the area's Operational Excellence teams. * Coordinate with green scheduling, managing production balances for Drying and subsequent Planing and Sorting. * Generate consolidated quality indicator reports, analyzing trends and fulfillment projections. * Manage rotation and consumption of old, idle inventory (reserving weekly capacities). * Lead the area's scheduling meetings. **Requirements:** * Degree holders in Industrial Civil Engineering, Forestry Execution Engineering, Forestry Engineering, or Industrial Execution Engineering (mandatory). * At least one year of experience in planning/scheduling areas within industrial plants (mandatory). * Knowledge of wood processing (desirable). * Availability to work in San Jose de la Mariquina area. * Intermediate level in Office software (mandatory). * Intermediate knowledge of SAP (desirable). * Basic English knowledge (desirable). * Experience in project evaluation (mandatory). **What do we offer?** * Opportunities for professional development and growth. * An inclusive and supportive work environment. ***At ARAUCO, we work every day to develop renewable forest products that improve people's lives—a task that challenges us to have committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
