We are looking to hire for the position of **Lifeguard**, according to the following skills and qualifications.

**The position**

The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool users by maintaining a controlled, safe, and orderly environment. Their main role is incident prevention, active surveillance of aquatic areas, timely emergency response, and strict compliance with safety regulations, contributing to the proper operation of the Aquatic Center’s activities.

**Qualifications and Experience**

* Lifeguard Certification (mandatory) / Certificación vigente como Salvavidas
* CPR and First Aid certification / Certificación vigente en RCP y Primeros Auxilios
* Intermediate English level
* 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

**Safety and Surveillance**
* Constantly supervise users in and around the pool, maintaining active and permanent surveillance.
* Prevent risky situations through continuous observation and the correct application of aquatic area rules and regulations.
* Maintain order in the pool area, ensuring the safe use of facilities, equipment, and materials.
* Be present on the pool deck before, during, and after scheduled activities and recreational use.
**Emergency Response**
* Respond quickly, effectively, and professionally to aquatic or medical emergencies.
* Perform rescue maneuvers, CPR, and first aid when necessary.
* Record and complete reports for incidents, accidents, or relevant situations, informing the Pool Coordinator in a timely manner.
**Operation and Control**
* Monitor and record daily water parameters: chlorine, pH, and pool temperature.
* Supervise general safety, cleanliness, and order conditions of the aquatic facility.
* Report operational issues, maintenance needs, or repairs to the Pool Coordinator.
**Training and Development:**
* Participate in training, drills, and update sessions when required.
* Maintain all required certifications for the position (CPR, first aid, and water rescue).
