




**Technical Support Specialist – Clinical Laboratory Solutions** ----------------------------------------------------------------------- **Job Mission** -------------------- Provide technical and functional support for clinical laboratory computing solutions, ensuring operational continuity of infrastructure, applications, and connectivity. This role is key to maintaining high technological standards and a reliable service experience for internal and external customers. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- ### **Technical Support and Customer Service** * Provide remote and on-site support for computing platforms, applications, and associated equipment. * Manage tickets and incidents, performing initial diagnosis, troubleshooting, and escalation when necessary. * Maintain clear and timely communication with users, reporting the status and progress of each case. ### **Installation, Configuration, and Integration** * Implement and update clinical laboratory computing solutions, including infrastructure (servers, networks, and components). * Configure secure connections between devices, servers, and LIS/HIS systems. * Support integration processes with biomedical instruments and customer clinical systems. ### **Maintenance and Monitoring** * Perform routine monitoring of services, connections, logs, and alerts. * Identify root causes and anticipate incidents. * Implement and maintain connections for remote service. ### **Management and Documentation** * Record activities in internal platforms and document installations, configurations, and changes. * Use ticketing and diagnostic tools systematically. ### **Training and Customization** * Train customers and distributors on platform usage. * Customize product configurations according to customer needs. ### **Collaboration and Compliance** * Collaborate with engineers, scientific advisors, and regional/global teams to resolve incidents and execute projects. * Comply with company security regulations and technical guidelines. **Job Requirements** ------------------------ ### **Education** * Degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields. * Desired certifications in networking, cybersecurity, or operating systems. ### **Experience** * Minimum of 2 years in IT technical support or similar roles, ideally in the healthcare sector. ### **Technical Skills** **Required:** * General computer and server support. * Networking and connectivity: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, basic routing. * Administration and implementation of Windows, Windows Server, and Linux (ideally RHEL). * Health interoperability protocols: ASTM and HL7\. * Basic programming logic (Java, C\+\+, Python or similar). **Desired:** * Cybersecurity applied to connectivity. * Basic SQL (queries, administration). * Administration and support of Layer 3 network devices. ### **Competencies** * Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation. * Effective communication and customer focus. * Organization, time management, and teamwork. * Ability to learn quickly and continuously improve. **Job Conditions** ------------------------- * **Work Mode:** Remote work (with field visits as needed)
