




A leading environmental company is seeking a **Civil Electronics Engineer** to support its Automation and Control department for water treatment plants. The company provides a range of services related to the support and maintenance of operational platforms and technologies, distinguished by its strong technical and managerial profile to deliver the design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and management of automation and control solutions and technologies—including but not limited to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS, instrumentation, control loops, etc. **Responsibilities:** - Apply knowledge, experience, technical and managerial skills to carry out the design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and management of automation and control solutions and technologies—including but not limited to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS, instrumentation, control loops, etc. * Meet internal or external customer needs through proper application of standards and procedures, or by designing and/or developing appropriate solutions while participating in multidisciplinary teams. * Perform development, coordination, supervision, or client-side representative duties as required. * Seek and obtain feedback regarding one’s work to support continuous improvement. * Specify and participate in system tests (FAT – Factory Acceptance Test, CAT – Configuration Acceptance Test, and SAT – Site Acceptance Test) as required. * Coordinate and actively participate in commissioning and start-up activities. * Train and advise end users on the use of supplied solutions and technologies. * Carry out other similar tasks of equivalent importance, as requested by management. * Ensure the quality of delivered work complies with defined standards. * Prepare reports and documentation promptly and accurately, as requested. * Generate technical documentation for projects or initiatives in which one participates. **Requirements:** * Degree in **Civil Electronics Engineering**, Civil Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering, or a closely related civil engineering discipline. * 2–5 years of experience in automation and control projects, including multi-brand technology integration in control systems, data exploitation, and experience in instrumentation, control, and electrical engineering. Knowledge of and experience with Chilean electrical regulations. Knowledge of and experience in coordination, supervision, and client-side representation related to the design, development, and implementation of control systems. * Three years of experience executing projects with an integrated, holistic perspective. * Demonstrable experience in PLC or RTU programming. * Demonstrable experience in SCADA system development. * Demonstrable experience in TICA integrations (Information, Communication, and Automation Technologies). * Demonstrable experience in maintenance and support of control systems—ideally within water treatment plants.
