Duties include inspecting and controlling personnel, as well as monitoring restricted areas to prevent unauthorized entry. The role also involves escorting cargo or baggage at the airport, ensuring its protection to and from the aircraft, and guaranteeing continuous compliance with airport security regulations. Compliance with regulations imposed by Swissport Chile S.A., DGAC, and the Client, as applicable. **Responsibilities** * Comply with and enforce regulations and rules imposed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), NP Concession, and Swissport. * Know and apply SWP and airline Operational and Emergency Procedures. * Maintain a valid airport credential, TICA N°5\. * Accurately record and sign attendance at the start and end of each shift. * Attend briefing and debriefing sessions for each shift. * Verify credentials of all personnel and visitors entering restricted security areas, ensuring they meet required permissions and criteria. * Conduct random and routine access point checks to prevent unauthorized entry. * Inspect baggage handling in the loading and unloading zone, ensuring strict adherence to security procedures. * Identify and report any suspicious activity or situations that may jeopardize passenger or staff safety. * Control aircraft access, verifying both main entrances and cargo areas, ensuring only authorized personnel gain entry. * Perform visual and operational inspections to detect potential threats to aircraft security. * Escort cargo to and from the aircraft, ensuring transport complies with security protocols and that cargo remains protected against unauthorized handling. * Verify cargo is delivered safely to its designated airport destination. * Escort baggage to and from the aircraft, ensuring transport complies with security protocols and that baggage remains protected against unauthorized handling. * Verify baggage is delivered safely to its designated airport destination. * Apply security protocols mandated by aviation authorities and the company, ensuring compliance with AVSEC regulatory guidelines. * Maintain records of conducted checks, incidents, and reports, and provide detailed reports in case of findings or irregularities. * Be prepared to respond to emergencies within airport facilities, following established evacuation and security procedures. * Collaborate with other security teams and emergency personnel to ensure rapid and effective incident response. * Conduct security exercises, inspections, and/or tests. * Fulfill responsibilities outlined in the Station’s QHSE Management System Manual and other manuals under their responsibility and management, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISAGO standards. **Requirements and Competencies** * Prior security experience, ideally in an airport or high-security environment. * Knowledge of AVSEC standards and airport security procedures. * Effective communication and conflict management skills. * Availability to work rotating shifts and adapt to high-pressure situations. * **Valid OS\-10 Course (mandatory)** * Proactive, responsible, organized, leadership-oriented, etc. **What We Offer** * Transportation, subject to conditions at each airport. * Uniform. * Life insurance. * Compensation fund benefits.
