This posting is original from the Get on Board platform. ### **Responsibilities** We are seeking a **Data Engineer** to join a **financial institution**, participating in initiatives involving **discovery, analysis, optimization, and securing of data processes** that handle personal and sensitive information. The role’s objective is to strengthen **data security, traceability, access control, and sound data governance practices**, within a **Cloud and Data Lake/Data Mart ecosystem**, ensuring data is used appropriately, under control, and in compliance with organizational policies. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Discover, analyze, and document **existing queries and processes accessing personal information**, evaluating their migration or adaptation to more managed data sources such as **Data Lake and Data Marts**. * Design, optimize, and tune **views, datasets, queries, and data processes**. * Analyze and optimize **ETL/ELT processes developed in Python** within Cloud ecosystems. * Review and adjust ETL processes, views, and **Service Accounts** that may have excessive access privileges, applying the principle of **least privilege**. * Validate **data equivalence, integrity, and consistency** between source and destination systems. * Identify **excessive access, bulk queries, exposure of personal information, or use of data without functional justification**. * Support **data protection initiatives**, including obfuscation, masking, anonymization, and access controls. * Strengthen **traceability and auditing** of data access and processing. * Collaborate with **Data, Cloud, Security, Architecture, and Data Governance teams** to implement improvements and controls. * Document data flows, access patterns, transformations, and dependencies, maintaining a comprehensive view of the information ecosystem. * Participate in initiatives for **data process optimization and modernization** within the financial institution. ### **Requirements** Do you have experience in data engineering and passion for security and protection of sensitive information?
