At Grupo Cintac, part of the CAP Holding, we are looking to integrate a Cybersecurity Engineer into our Information Technologies team who wishes to grow professionally by leading initiatives in technological infrastructure protection, vulnerability management, and incident response—contributing to operational continuity and the security of our businesses. We are a company present in Chile and Peru, with operations in the industrial steel sector, construction, manufacturing plants, and mining services—including our own camps and hotels. We are characterized by our focus on safety, efficiency, and, above all, people. What will be your purpose in this role? Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s information assets, networks, and technological infrastructure through the implementation of security controls, vulnerability management, and incident response—ensuring regulatory compliance and operational continuity. Key Responsibilities * Design and implement security architectures and controls for network and IT/OT platform infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, IDS/IPS, and system hardening. * Manage vulnerabilities through periodic scanning, risk analysis, prioritization, and tracking of remediation plans with involved departments. * Monitor security events via SIEM/SOC platforms, leading detection, containment, investigation, and response to cybersecurity incidents. * Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices for information security, promoting continuous improvement of implemented controls. What are we looking for? Mandatory: * Professional degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field. * Experience administering and implementing security controls (firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, network segmentation). * Experience in vulnerability management, risk analysis, and cybersecurity incident response. * Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Preferred: * Experience monitoring SIEM platforms and operating SOC environments. * Cybersecurity-related certifications (Security+, CEH, ISO 27001, CISSP, or others). * Experience in industrial environments or OT infrastructure.
