Candidates must possess knowledge of the Forestry Law, irrigation systems, and personnel management, for its sanitary landfill plant located in the Rinconada sector (Santiago Poniente Sanitary Landfill), Maipú commune. **Job Description** -------------------------- We are seeking a qualified and reliable Mechanic to join our team in Santiago de Chile, specifically at our Camino a Rinconada \- Maipú location. This position involves rotating shifts and requires a detail-oriented individual capable of efficiently maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various industrial machines and equipment. * Diagnose mechanical problems using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment. * Carry out preventive maintenance procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance. * Read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. * Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory. * Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations during shift rotations. * Comply with all safety protocols and procedures. * Respond promptly to emergency repair situations. * Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements when necessary. **Requirements** -------------- * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. * Extensive experience as a mechanic, with particular focus on industrial environments. * Advanced proficiency in the use of hand tools, electrical equipment, and diagnostic instruments. * In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment maintenance. * Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex technical manuals and blueprints. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective fault identification. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork. * Current and relevant safety certifications. * Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in various difficult positions. * Commitment to working rotating shifts at the Camino a Rinconada \- Maipú location in Santiago, Chile. **Additional Information** ------------------------- Fixed-term contract for replacement, subject to performance.
