Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting of premiums and commissions, guaranteeing financial order and control, including treasury operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure accurate accounting of insurance premiums and commissions. 2. Reconcile accounts with insurance companies and manage banking operations. 3. Participate in financial closings and support audits. You will be responsible for ensuring that accounting accurately reflects premium and commission movements, guaranteeing financial order, reconciliation, and control within insurance operations. Additionally, ensure all treasury operations and banking transactions are correctly recorded in the accounting system. * Reconciliations with insurance companies * Review and reconcile collected premiums versus invoiced premiums. * Verify commission agreements with insurers and their correct settlement. * Prepare insurance reports * Address dealer inquiries regarding commission settlements * Monitor outstanding payments, premium discrepancies, or adjustments. * Record, analyze, and reconcile accounting entries. * Ensure accurate accounting of treasury movements and banking operations. * Prepare reports and variance analyses. * Participate in monthly financial closing processes. * Support internal and external audits. * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Auditor * 1 year of prior experience in a similar role (preferred) * Intermediate to Advanced English (verifiable) * Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Access, and database management) * Attention to detail and ability to work with precision * Ability to work under pressure and meet established deadlines * Teamwork GM Financial is an equal opportunity employer.
