Regarding gender equity, we aim to achieve 35% female representation by 2027 and generate equal opportunities for all people, as we firmly believe in the value of diverse teams (this position falls under Law 21.015, which promotes the inclusion of persons with disabilities). **We invite you to join one of the best places to develop your talents!** **Job Purpose:** Ensure compliance with the Plant’s production programs through proper execution of daily and periodic corrective, preventive, predictive, and symptomatic maintenance activities; maintain control over risks and care for equipment, tools, and materials under one’s responsibility; and continuously improve performance while adhering to and enforcing established policies, standards, and procedures of the Division and the Corporation related to safety, occupational health, environment, and diversity and inclusion. **Because here your talents will serve Chile!** **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan maintenance activities within one’s scope of responsibility to meet defined production programs and thereby ensure operational continuity. * Conduct inspection and corrective, preventive, predictive, or symptomatic maintenance activities on equipment and components, following established procedures and using available maintenance equipment, tools, spare parts, and materials. * Execute scheduled maintenance activities and respond to contingencies to ensure operational continuity of plant equipment and facilities, controlling risks that could affect quality, safety, environment, and personnel health, as well as timeliness, technical quality, and maintenance cost. * Prepare technical INVEC reports for equipment and plants to define spare parts, procedures, instructions, and specific training plans. * Record and use data in divisional information systems. * Coordinate and supervise activities performed by contracted service providers to ensure correct execution of maintenance tasks. * Comply with internal procedures, regulations, and instructions governing maintenance work in the Division, as well as quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental standards. * Ensure compliance with the ventilation unit’s maintenance programs, ensuring excellence in execution to maximize equipment and system availability and reliability through assistance, coordination, activation, and follow-up of activities—with special emphasis on safeguarding people, property, and the environment (ventilation-specific). * Carry out all activities required to maintain operational standards for equipment and processes associated with ventilation and dust control systems—including inspection, verification, classification, repair, etc. (ventilation-specific). * Perform any other duties similar to the above and relevant to the position, as assigned by one’s supervisor. **Application Requirements:** * Graduate of a university-level technical program or higher technical institute in electronics, instrumentation, automation, industrial control, or a closely related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance areas of industrial plants. * Minimum 2 years of experience in the mining industry. * SEC Class D license. * Valid Class B driver’s license. * Health condition compatible with the position. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Proficiency in computer systems such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint (user level), SAP, PI Systems, etc. * Basic Occupational Risk Prevention course. * Technical English. **Offered Conditions:** * Contract type: Temporary. * Contractual position: Qualified Maintenance Technician - Instrumentation Technician (Plants). * Work location: Andina Division. * Working hours: Monday to Thursday. * Number of vacancies: 01. **Application Deadline: Wednesday, September 02, 2026.** Application closing time: 23:59 hrs. “I hereby declare that I am aware of the conditions, per Codelco regulations, that may constitute incompatibility for holding the position to which I am applying—and therefore affect my continued participation in the selection process.
