Job Description **Purpose** Manage the Integrated Operations Center (CIO) activities related to control, communication, and operation of mine and plant processes, facilitating coordination with logistics and operational support roles according to the weekly production plan, ensuring achievement of safety and production objectives. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage integrated mine and plant operations, ensuring operational continuity, compliance with procedures, and correct equipment utilization under safety standards. * Monitor and improve urgent and scheduled work management processes using Operational Model tools, contributing to an efficient integrated operation. * Make real-time operational decisions to manage operational contingencies. * Monitor mine and plant operational indicators, taking preventive and corrective actions to reduce variability and meet production and quality targets. * Coordinate execution of integrated operational tactics with field supervisors and CIO operators, implementing necessary adjustments to the production process to capture opportunities and minimize losses. * Implement daily routines with various CIO operational roles and with mine and plant operational stakeholders, ensuring timely information flow regarding issues, risks, opportunities, and process status. * Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and opportunities across the production chain, coordinating mitigation and control actions per safety standards and within one’s scope of responsibility. * Prepare shift handover documentation and generate integrated reports on production, safety, and incidents, using Company-defined channels to ensure continuity between shifts. **100% on-site work at El Soldado Operation, 7x7 shift schedule** **Residence:** Santiago \- Quillota \- La Cruz \- La Calera \- Nogales \- El Melón, for use of our shuttle transportation. Requirements * Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Mining / Chemical / Metallurgical / Mechanical / Geological Engineering. * Postgraduate studies in Mining Management / Business Management (Desirable) and/or postgraduate studies related to data analytics and/or continuous improvement. **Professional Experience** * Minimum 10 years of experience in mining. * Minimum 3 years as shift supervisor or equivalent in mining processes. * Experience coordinating field operator teams and control room operators. **Technical Knowledge** * Advanced knowledge of the mining production chain, including mine and plant operations. * Basic knowledge of mining operational systems, such as plant control systems and fleet dispatch systems. * User-level proficiency in OSISoft PI for operational data monitoring and analysis. * User-level knowledge of Power BI for information visualization and analysis. * Proficiency in SAP (modules PM, EC3, among others). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Proficiency in Power BI. **Other Requirements** * Availability and health compatible with working shifts at site. * Advanced written and spoken English (desirable) * Valid Class B driver’s license Additional Information At Anglo American, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment where all colleagues are valued and respected for who they are, and where everyone has the opportunity to realize their full potential.
