ENAP invites professionals to apply for the position of Environmental Engineer to work at Aconcagua Refinery. The purpose of this position is to advise on and implement environmental activities within the Environmental Department of Aconcagua Refinery, focusing on environmental management, regulatory compliance, environmental follow-up, and environmental project evaluation, among other areas; as well as monitoring and controlling the environmental performance of Aconcagua Refinery through department-specific activities. Key responsibilities include: reviewing, applying, and ensuring compliance with environmental and sector-specific regulations applicable to Aconcagua Refinery and its processes, as well as internal ENAP and Aconcagua Refinery standards. Actively participating in and providing technical advice to the Environmental Department and other refinery operations on environmental matters, biodiversity, and natural resources (e.g., flora, fauna, soils, archaeology, etc.). Formulating, managing, and processing sector-specific environmental permits. Communicating with various environmental authorities. Supporting and leading the environmental development and processing of investment projects, as well as conducting environmental assessments for internal change projects at Aconcagua Refinery. Responding to environmental authority inspections and information requests, identifying, where applicable, findings and deviations from environmental compliance.
