Job Summary: We are seeking a Procurement Engineer to investigate improvements, conduct tenders, negotiate, draft contracts, and generate KPIs for technical procurement, while managing suppliers and standardizing processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Investigate and improve procurement processes. 2. Supplier negotiation and strategic management. 3. Purchase management control and monitoring. The company seeks a Procurement Engineer to work on a temporary basis covering **pre- and post-natal leave**. Job Objective: Continuously identify opportunities to improve procurement processes—including tendering, quotation, supplier renegotiation, contract drafting, and KPI generation—to support various technical procurement activities within the department. Conditions: 1\. Remuneration: $1\.300\.00 net 2\. Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00–18:00; Friday until 14:00\. 3\. Work location: Valparaíso. 4\. Responsibilities: * Ongoing negotiations with the entire supplier chain. * Leverage capabilities to consolidate or aggregate spending categories. * Reduce number of suppliers and specifications. * Improve procurement processes. * Mitigate risks in the procurement process. * Increase procurement flexibility. * Enhance purchase management control and monitoring. * Standardize supply chain processes. * Issue purchase orders for the department. * Consolidate and review the Fixed Cost and Expense budget associated with the department across affiliated companies. * Supplier selection. * Process quotation requests. * Negotiate and maintain long-term supply pricing and agreements. * Create and maintain contracts. * Maintain supplier performance information. 5\. Requirements: * Education: Commercial Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, or Business Administration Engineering. * Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency is desirable. * Experience using SAP MM module. * Experience in tendering processes, contract administration, and drafting. * Minimum two years’ prior experience in similar roles. 6\. Contract under Temporary Services Regime.
