Perform computational modeling and execute design spreadsheets * Develop and enhance the discipline through implementation of best practices in people management and methodologies * Apply current regulations **Work Experience:** At least 10 years of experience in the design and construction of industrial projects, particularly related to the Petroleum, gas, chemical, or energy industries. Must possess experience in development and/or review of specifications and detailed engineering for civil works and industrial structures. Knowledge of geotechnics, foundations, concrete works, metallic structures, as well as solid understanding and interpretation of civil and structural drawings and applicable national and international standards in the specialty is required. **Teamwork Capability.** Results-oriented, capable of continuous learning, possessing leadership qualities, and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills with third parties. **Desirable Technical Knowledge:** a) Thorough familiarity with the scope and definitions of Chilean standards issued by the National Institute of Standardization (INN), specifically NCh standards applicable to industrial construction in the Civil Engineering specialty, and the General Urbanism and Construction Law regarding industrial works—particularly requirements under NCh 2369 and NCh 433\. b) Thorough familiarity with the ACI\-318 Design Code requirements concerning the design and construction of reinforced concrete structures. c) Knowledge of international structural design standards, such as AISC or Eurocode. d) Knowledge of foundation design for equipment and tanks per API 650 and ASME BPVC Section VIII Division 1\. e) Clear ability to interpret and analyze civil and structural steel drawings to readily identify stated design conditions. f) Proficiency in various construction aspects of civil works—from soil mechanics studies to completion of superstructures. g) Knowledge of anticorrosive coatings (industrial paints) and passive fire protection. h) Familiarity with Structural Design Standard SDS ERSA Revision 0 or higher.
