Internal development opportunities within an inclusive environment. **Lagardère Travel Retail**, a leading multinational company in foodservice retail and customer service, continues expanding in Chile and is looking to hire **Kitchen Assistants with griddle experience** for our restaurants located at **Nuevo Pudahuel Airport**. **Mission:** To be part of the kitchen team, supporting food preparation and dispatch with a strong focus on griddle operations—ensuring high-quality preparations, compliance with food safety standards, and agile service for our customers. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare and cook food on the griddle or other equipment, following recipes, cooking times, and presentation standards. * Support daily production and mise en place of ingredients for service. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and hygiene in the kitchen area and all used equipment. * Monitor proper handling, storage, and rotation of food items. * Assist in restocking supplies and raw materials to ensure operational continuity. * Coordinate closely with the team to meet service timing requirements, especially during peak-demand periods. * Comply with hygiene protocols, food safety standards, and internal company procedures. **We Offer:** * Fixed-term contract with potential transition to an indefinite-term contract. * Meals provided during working hours. * Commuting transportation. * Corporate uniform. * Compensation Fund (Caja de Compensación). * Internal development opportunities. * Supplementary Health Insurance upon transition to an indefinite-term contract. **Working Hours:** * Full-time schedule. * Rotating shifts: morning, afternoon, and night. * Availability to work weekends and holidays, respecting legally mandated rest periods. **Requirements:** * Minimum education: Secondary Education (Humanities/Technical track). * At least **1 year of experience as a Kitchen Assistant**, preferably in griddle stations or high-volume kitchens. * Experience preparing hamburgers, sandwiches, or other griddle-cooked items. * Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and safe food handling practices. * Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards during peak-demand services. * Proactivity, commitment, and willingness to work collaboratively in a team. * Availability to work at Nuevo Pudahuel Airport.
