Uses technological tools and monitors fleets for efficiency. **Distribution Planner** **About the Role** At Essity, we are looking for a **Distribution Planner** for our **Logistics** team, who will be responsible for planning and optimizing distribution costs and service levels (Fill Rate and On-Time). The planning process includes analyzing, prioritizing, and consolidating our customers’ orders to ensure timely delivery to the destination point at the appropriate cost, using our route optimization system. If you identify with this role, we would love to speak with you. **Job Responsibilities:** * **Consolidate customer orders** Organize customer orders, considering customer requirements (delivery time windows, labeling, attached documents, loaders, pallet jacks, purchase orders, palletization standards). * **Organize delivery routes for orders** Organize preparation loads for each delivery route, considering established regional dispatch lead times, as well as all factors that could delay orders. * **Resource management** Manage dispatch resources from the Distribution Center (DC), balancing them with our fleet to meet our OTIF, Fill Rate, and On-Time targets. * **Manage our Transportation Hub by assigning loads** Assign loads to available carriers meeting the necessary conditions to ensure timely delivery in accordance with our customer promise (service level). * **Management of prepared loads at the DC (operations)** Send prepared loads to the operations team (warehouse) with the required priority and assigned transportation. * **Authorization of special expenses** Approve or reject additional carrier costs incurred en route, justified in writing (e.g., email, GPS data, or other evidence). * **Transportation cost optimization** Analyze cost levels to optimize logistics operations in terms of service or cost. Generate control KPIs enabling continuous improvement of optimizations. Update system tables monthly for better optimization analysis. * **Optimal use of technological tools** Regularly and promptly use all defined technological tools—including TMS, CRD, Optimizer, reports, and other work tools specified by management—to execute planning tasks. * **Continuous fleet monitoring** Use the TMS tool to monitor our fleet, validating visited delivery points for return authorizations and checking schedule compliance. **Who Are You?** * Technical or professional degrees related to Logistics. * 3\-4 years of experience in transportation planning and execution, managing service levels and transportation distribution costs. * Knowledge of transportation distribution and supply chain management skills. * Experience leading or participating in projects. * Advanced Excel. * Power BI knowledge (desirable). * Proactivity and sense of responsibility. **What We Offer** Our purpose—Breaking Barriers to Well-being—gives meaning to everything we do.
