Job Summary: The Field Support Engineer manages and updates the equipment database, optimizes quotation response times, and develops coding for assembly and repair kits. Key Highlights: 1. Manages equipment database and standardizes parts and components. 2. Develops assembly and repair kits based on equipment and customers. 3. Conducts on-site surveys and generates technical documentation. **About the position** The Field Support Engineer is responsible for managing and updating the equipment database, ensuring standardization of parts and components. They contribute to optimizing quotation response times through efficient use of available information, and develop coding for assembly and repair kits tailored to each equipment type and customer. Additionally, they conduct on-site surveys and generate corresponding technical and graphical documentation for equipment such as front-end loaders and mining hoppers. **Main Responsibilities** * Conduct on-site surveys and generate technical and graphical documentation for equipment. * Manage databases, including standardization and coding of parts, components, and kits. * Analyze wear and thickness to develop technical proposals and value-added projects customized for each customer. * Develop drawings and specifications, driving improvements and innovations in design. * Support quotation preparation by optimizing response times with reliable technical information. Coordinate and deliver information to internal departments, ensuring project feasibility and quality compliance. * **About you** * Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. * Knowledge of industrial sheet metal work, machining, and mechanical component design. * Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft tools (Office, Excel, PowerPoint). * Strong foundation in geometry and component development. * Experience in CAD modeling, reverse engineering, and point cloud processing. * Use of 3D scanning technologies, metrology, and dimensional inspection.
