Ensure regulatory compliance and provide cross-functional technical support At Coca\-Cola CPS Chile, we are looking for our next **Process Engineer** ‼️ **Position Summary** The Process Engineer is a cross-functional technical-operational leader responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes to drive plant-level operational excellence—ensuring efficiency, quality, food safety, operational continuity, and business competitiveness. They serve as a technical reference and natural leader within the plant—even without direct hierarchical authority—by influencing and aligning Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Quality, and other functions, while promoting an integrated view of the production process. They actively participate in investment and efficiency projects, analyzing key performance indicators to identify and eliminate waste, challenging existing processes, detecting improvement opportunities, and leading the implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions. They engage directly in daily operations and step beyond their formal role when required to ensure production continuity, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven analysis, and fact-based decision-making—with direct impact on plant results and business sustainability. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Operational Leadership and Continuous Improvement** * Lead process optimization initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, safety, and quality—using Operational Excellence, Lean, and TPM tools. * Drive and mobilize Production teams through structured continuous improvement routines, managing KPIs such as OEE, plan adherence, MUV, and loss analysis. * Analyze production processes systematically, identifying root causes beyond symptoms—including impacts on procurement, logistics, maintenance, and quality. * Investigate, manage, and resolve operational problems and deviations, acting as a facilitator and technical reference during contingencies affecting production continuity. * Lead and promote innovation and “Factory of the Future” initiatives—encouraging new ways of working, automation, digitalization, and innovative solutions to improve plant performance. **2\. Project and Investment Management** * Facilitate and support the execution of investment and improvement projects—acting as the technical and operational reference and as a permanent liaison between operations (operators, leaders) and the project team. * Translate operational needs, constraints, and opportunities into clear technical inputs for alternative evaluation and business decision-making. * Support managers and project owners through technical analysis, risk assessment, operational impact evaluation, and recommendations—enabling informed and sustainable decisions. * Validate that project solutions are operable, safe, efficient, and aligned with the plant’s reality before, during, and after implementation. * Provide on-site technical support during investment and improvement project execution—acting as the expert counterpart to suppliers and internal teams. * Identify gaps between project design and actual operations—raising timely alerts and proposing adjustments to ensure successful implementation. * Execute “Kit Configuration” activities via Flow projects—ensuring consistency between technical design and operational execution. * **3\. Compliance, Documentation, and Operational Control** * Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and process safety regulations—safeguarding product integrity and reliability. * Conduct operational and process risk analyses—defining and implementing preventive actions and control measures to ensure safety and quality. * Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation up to date—ensuring alignment with internal and regulatory standards. * Actively participate in key management routines—including month-end closing, pre-SPP, and operational capacity analysis—contributing a technical and risk-aware perspective to decision-making. * **4\. Cross-Functional Technical and Operational Support** * Document and keep operational records, processes, and procedures up to date—ensuring correct understanding and application at the plant level. * Provide direct and timely operational support—acting as Super User and technical reference for production systems. * Actively support resolution of operational issues—even outside one’s immediate area of responsibility—when production continuity requires it. * Serve as the technical point of contact for Production regarding questions, operational deviations, or process improvement initiatives. * **5\. Financial and Resource Management** * Manage production CAPEX and OPEX—developing business cases, expense projections, and economic analyses of projects and improvement initiatives. * Lead initiatives aimed at efficient use of production resources—positively impacting OPEX through MUV, consumption, loss, efficiency, and yield improvement management. * Consolidate, maintain, and update financial records of improvement initiatives—ensuring traceability from opportunity identification through effective benefit capture. * Systematically track expected vs. actual returns (savings, efficiencies, loss reduction)—collaborating with Finance and Production to ensure accurate capture and return of economic value generated to the company. * Manage Fixed Asset inventory—keeping the asset list updated and leading activation, deactivation, or retirement processes as needed. * Serve as backup for SAP-based yield analysis and justification—ensuring consistency between operational and financial results. * Provide periodic visibility to the Production leadership team on the economic impact of initiatives—supporting decision-making and effort prioritization. * Actively participate in month-end closing, pre-SPP routines, and operational capacity analysis—contributing an integrated technical-financial perspective. **Educational Requirements** * Experience in the food industry, continuous improvement processes, and investment project management. * Minimum 5 years of professional experience * University degree * Intermediate spoken and written English * SAP knowledge * Project Management certification * Familiarity with Operational Excellence tools * Knowledge of digital tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Microsoft) (\*) This position requires 100% on-site work at our production plant located in San Bernardo (\*\*) Employment contract is indefinite ✔️ **Location(s):** Chile**City/Cities:** San Bernardo \- Santiago de Chile**Travel Required:** 00% \- 25%**Relocation Provided:** No**Job Posting End Date:** May 15, 2026**Our Purpose and Growth Culture:** We are taking deliberate action to nurture an inclusive culture that is grounded in our company purpose, to refresh the world and make a difference.
