**COMPUTER ENGINEER** * Minimum education level: Professional. * Mode: In-person. * Work schedule duration: 44 hours per week. * Work location: Ovalle, Coquimbo Region, Chile. **DESCRIPTION** We are seeking to add a Computer Engineer to our team who can contribute their experience in managing critical IT infrastructures, supporting business operation continuity, and actively participating in strategic digital transformation projects. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Manage, maintain, and optimize critical IT infrastructures, both on-premises and cloud-based. * Ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of servers, operating systems, and key applications. * Administer and configure Linux (CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu) and Windows Server operating systems. * Implement and maintain virtualization platforms: VMware, Proxmox. * Configure and manage essential services such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). * Deploy and operate monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, NMS) to ensure operational continuity. * Collaborate on infrastructure, telecommunications, and new digital service development projects. * Document technical processes and procedures using collaborative tools (Confluence, Git). **REQUIREMENTS** * Degree in Computer Engineering, Civil in Computer Science, or related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles. * Solid knowledge in Linux and Windows server administration. * Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox). * Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and VPNs. * Experience configuring relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). * Excellent communication skills. * High degree of integrity and professionalism. **BENEFITS** * Competitive salary. * High-end laptop. * Personal smartphone. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Collaborative and dynamic work environment. * Compensation fund. * Casual dress code.
