Our client is a mining company with operations in northern Chile. They are currently seeking an **Environmental Deputy Manager** for their corporate office. Key responsibilities include: * Permits and Licenses: Lead the acquisition and management of environmental and sectoral permits, ensuring compliance with the Environmental Qualification Resolution (RCA). * Projects: Lead environmental, regulatory, and sustainability standard compliance in large-scale mining operations and megaprojects. * Legislation: Stay updated on environmental legislation and regulatory changes, monitoring updates and adjustments. * Compliance: Supervise compliance with environmental commitments, operational standards, and socio-environmental obligations arising from project files. * Reporting: Prepare and submit environmental monitoring reports to environmental assessment and oversight agencies, among others. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Environmental Engineering (or related field) and has at least 15 years of professional experience, with 10 years in similar roles. It is desirable to be based in the northern region (Copiapó, Antofagasta, etc.) and to be familiar with local permitting procedures.
