Major Fuel Company operating in mining sites requires: Safety Advisor – Sernageomin B **Position Objective:** Provide technical advisory to line management and CPHS on Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) matters, focusing on achieving HSE objectives and targets, preparation and implementation of work plans and programs, monitoring and control of preventive activities. Supervise and lead the HSE management system for the contract at the mining site, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in preventing accidents and occupational illnesses. **Job Functions:** * Support Contract Administrators and Operations Supervision in developing HSE activities and Risk Management Cycle, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and company requirements. * Supervise field Risk Prevention tasks to ensure fulfillment of contractual commitments through HSE plans, audits, and programs at the mining site. * Advise the contract on fuel supply matters at the assigned mining site. * Participate in audits and/or inspections scheduled by the company or client, and support implementation of identified corrective and preventive actions. * Prepare/submit statistics as required by the client and/or contract legal obligations. * Keep the "Start-up Folder" updated. * Advise Joint Hygiene and Safety Committees according to current legal framework, with a focus on safety and accident prevention. * Participate in incident investigation teams and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive measures. * Comply with obligations required and established under client's internal regulations. * Develop and/or validate operational procedures related to risk prevention according to legal framework and client’s internal standards. * Participate in training and drills for site personnel on risk prevention topics. * Monitor compliance with the HSE Plan and support the person responsible for its execution. * Maintain contact with authorities regarding any necessary inquiries or clarifications within the scope of the position. **Requirements** * Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, with Sernageomin B qualification. (mandatory) * Residence between Regions I to IV (mandatory), preferably Antofagasta. * Work location: Minera Escondida site (work mode includes remote work and one or two days per shift onsite) * Include salary expectations (net) in CV * 4x3 shift (day shift) **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years of experience in the role * Recent experience at Minera Escondida, due to familiarity with updated standards.
