Network Engineer At **PS Grupo Hunting**, we are looking for a **Network Engineer** to join a **long-term clinical sector project**, actively participating in the administration, continuity, security, and evolution of a highly critical technological infrastructure. We seek a professional with solid experience in **networks, communications, and security**, capable of operating effectively both in daily production environments and in implementation, migration, and technological improvement projects. The position requires an **autonomous, analytical, solution-oriented, and service-focused profile**, with the ability to diagnose incidents, identify root causes, propose solutions, and coordinate effectively with internal teams and vendors in an environment where service availability and continuity are fundamental. Job Objective Administer, maintain, implement, and optimize the infrastructure for **data networks, communications, and security**, ensuring high standards of availability, stability, performance, protection, and scalability. The professional will have direct involvement in both the operation of the technological infrastructure and in network-related initiatives and projects, collaborating with various technical areas and vendors to guarantee continuity of clinical services and contribute to the evolution of the technological architecture. Key Responsibilities * Administer network and security infrastructure in production environments, ensuring its availability, stability, and performance. * Configure, maintain, and manage networking and security equipment, identifying failures and executing corrective and preventive actions. * Administer connectivity and internet services, monitoring links, configurations, capacity, and network performance. * Continuously monitor the communications infrastructure, detecting degradations, outages, vulnerabilities, or behaviors outside defined parameters. * Analyze and resolve network and security incidents escalated by support teams, performing root cause analysis and applying solutions aimed at reducing downtime. * Administer and optimize implemented networking and cybersecurity technologies in production environments. * Participate in projects for implementation, migration, renewal, expansion, and improvement of network and communications infrastructure. * Support the design and evolution of network architectures, considering criteria such as security, redundancy, availability, scalability, and operational continuity. * Develop and maintain up-to-date network diagrams, technical documentation, configuration backups, operational procedures, and change logs. * Manage and maintain an updated inventory of equipment, components, licenses, and other assets associated with the network infrastructure. * Coordinate activities with vendors, technical teams, and internal departments during implementations, maintenance, contingencies, and change windows. * Identify improvement opportunities and actively contribute to the planning and technological evolution of the network and security infrastructure. Job Requirements * Professional degree in **Computer Science Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Connectivity and Networks Engineering**, or a related field. * Minimum **3 years of experience** administering network, communications, and security infrastructure in production environments. * Experience in both continuous infrastructure operations and technology implementation, migration, upgrade, or improvement projects. * Ability to perform diagnosis, configuration, incident resolution, and technical documentation of network infrastructure. * Demonstrable experience and/or knowledge of technologies such as: * **Fortinet** * **HPE Aruba** * **Aruba Central** * **Palo Alto** * **Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)** * Solid knowledge of **LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, switching, routing, firewalls, network segmentation, connectivity, and perimeter security**. * Availability to work in a **100% on-site** capacity and travel between different clinical providers as required by the project’s operational needs. Preferred Qualifications * **Cisco CCNP** certification or equivalent. * Official certifications in **Fortinet, Aruba, Palo Alto, or Oracle Cloud** technologies. * Prior experience in clinical, hospital, or technology environments with high requirements for availability and operational continuity. * Experience coordinating vendors, maintenance windows, and change control processes. * Knowledge of operational continuity, incident management, and information security best practices.
