### **Machine Room Operator / Refrigeration Area – Slaughterhouse** **Location:** Isla de Maipo **Salary:** CLP $800,000 net ️ **Benefit:** Cafeteria **Schedule:** Rotating shifts (A, B, and C) We are seeking a **Machine Room Operator** to join the technical team of the refrigeration area at our slaughterhouse located in **Isla de Maipo**. We are looking for a **proactive, responsible individual with a willingness to learn**, preferably **young**, possessing technical training or experience in industrial refrigeration. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Support refrigeration area operations under the supervision of the **Technical Manager**. * Monitor refrigeration systems: **cold rooms, pre-cooling tunnels, loading docks**, among others. * Immediately report any malfunctions or situations requiring technical attention. * Measure pallet temperatures during pre-cooling tunnel and maintenance cold room setup. * Maintain temperatures within ranges specified by operational instructions. * Provide general support for tasks in the refrigeration area and slaughterhouse as required. ### **Requirements:** * Experience in **slaughterhouses, cold storage facilities, or similar areas**. * Technical training preferred, e.g., as a **Mechanical Technician, Electromechanical Technician, or related field**. * Availability to work **rotating shifts**. * Interest in professional development and adaptation to the area (possibility of long-term seasonal employment and continuity). ### **Rotating Shifts:** **Shift A:** * Monday to Friday: 00:00–08:00 hrs. * Saturday: 00:00–07:00 hrs. * 30-minute meal break **Shift B:** * Monday to Friday: 08:00–16:00 hrs. * Saturday: 07:00–14:00 hrs. * 30-minute meal break **Shift C:** * Monday to Friday: 16:00–00:00 hrs. * Saturday: 14:00–21:00 hrs. * 30-minute meal break * (Shift C is seasonal, with potential for stable continuation.)
